This article will set the tone for the entire thought process for an average everyday person(s) who find themselves in a real world survival situation. Based on a fictional baseline to tell the process and explain the scenario. Describe herein will be the developmental process from first realization to embracing the reality and progressive physical and mental actions. By design I will attempt to walk you through this mission of understanding and deliver to you what could be considered as close to the real deal as humanly possible. I did not take a course at a survival school, I am a lifetime student of this craft. As you will see I have earned my foothold through blood, sweat and tears. I have conducted independent research that amounts to approximately 10,000+ hours over the course of my life. This book will demonstrate my knowledge and give reason why I am held in the same celebrity as Ray Mayers, Tom Brown, Les Stroud, Mykle Hawke, Cody Lundin, Dave Canterberry, and Bear Grylls to name a few.
Serving a educational value to the reader that will bring intimate insight while offering knowledge I as a instructor and industry leader posses through my decades of experience. Here is a quick qualifying bio of my past and present, for your own comfort factor. 31 years ago my father took me to my first Boy Scouts Of America Troop Meeting in Hayward California. My father later became a Boy Scout Leader at this same troop. During my involvement we conducted Scout organized events and I sucked up all the knowledge I could. Within the first few weeks, I all but memorized my Boy Scout Handbook. Stepping forward in time, I moved to Washington State to live with my Mother. For the next several years living on Big Lake, Washington. I progressed within nature, hunting large game, setting traps and firearms for hunting became the norm. I grew up in a community built up mostly by the logging industry. My Mother was a peace loving nature and supportive parent with all things outdoors. Before the age of 16, I had hunted the foothills of the cascades, conquered the 30 mile Cascade Loop Trail. I participated in outdoor youth groups through church organizations. Mother nature was my home, and having every possible survival book or field manual on hand by the Vietnam era military taught me so much. Jumping ahead to 1995, I enlisted into the US Army as a 19Delta Cavalry Scout. It was here I learned what sets me apart from many in my industry. I developed skills over the course of the next 18 years that can only come to careerist such as myself. Serving in Fort Polk Louisiana and Camp Garry Owen South Korea for 14 months. From 1997 to 2003, I worked in Oakland/ San Francisco Bay Area in the civilian sector as an armed officer for companies such as Intervention Agency Inc., Sentinel Inc., Personal Protective Services Inc., and Pinkerton Inc.. I worked predominantly in low income housing and high crime demographics. I worked in every public housing project or development both public and private in the city and county of San Francisco. I additionally worked in the East Bay Area in Oakland and Alameda County as a armed patrol officer. Dealing with enforcement of lease, property, local, state and federal laws that were applicable. From trespassing, noise complaints, domestic violence, drive-by's, gangs, narcotics, murder, robbery and burglary I patrolled or walked some of the meanest streets combating crime in the United States of America. During this time I was assigned to the 341st Combat Military Police in San Jose, California. Hold a slot for 95B20v5 Military Police Investigator. - US Army Reserves. The year 2003, I entered back on active duty status and was stationed at Fort Hood Texas. I deployed to OIF II in Iraq and was assigned to Forward Operating Base Freedom I with HHT 3-8 Cavalry as a Cavalry Scout. Living and working within the International Zone otherwise known as the Green Zone. In 2005, I joined the Corporal Recruiter program and served as a US Army Recruiter for two years as outlined in the program where I acquired the rank of Sergeant. In 2007, I returned to Fort Hood, Texas. I was assigned to 1-7 Cavalry Squadron and was quickly sent back to Iraq to catch up with my new platoon already deployed to Camp Taji, Iraq. In 2008, I graduated from Warrior Leaders Course, Also Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Course for phase II of my advanced leadership training and certification. Finally after a long wait for slots available I graduated the entire course in 2012. In July of 2012, I started my company Survival Extreme Catalog Inc. Starting out in catalog and product affiliation through on-line marketing and sales related to the outdoor industry. Within the first year of being in business I expanded globally with marketing, products and services. I began publishing blogs, forums and iMagazines articles. Hollywood came knocking at my door with casting directors seeking my exceptional expertise as they began following me on multiple social media accounts and web based platforms. I was interviewed for survival television reality shows and attended casting calls for people with my credentials. In a few short months I created my own survival television reality show, built the cast and crew. Embedded with filmmakers and writers. Having a Producers Portal with major networks and possessing script, threadline, logline and synopsis. I began filming for archival footage and currently am hoping to finish the pilot and contract in the next two years. All the while I began co-hosting a show with a friend on survival. Being limited by time zones, I started my own show on survival talk titled Survival Trek Escape (Talk) and am featured on iHeartRadio as a independent Radio Station. I am also featured on WWSNRadio.com with my show America's Survival Son a European platform in Great Britain. I was invited by Debi King McMartin and Jack Skyyler to appear as myself in the movie titled: SKOOKUM, The Hunt For Bigfoot already premiered in October 2013. I started a survival group titled: Bell County Wilderness Survival Group in Killeen, Texas. I offered primitive wilderness survival training and had 52 active members in our first few months. I offer personal hands on instruction in primitive and modern survival/bushcraft skills. I also have the ability to draw from my law enforcement and military background on all things related to weapons, tactics and navigation. I also teach preventive and first aid skills. By way of my teachings globally I have been recognized and placed in the top ten list of Best Survival Experts by TheTopTens.com/Best-Survival-Experts/ I typically bounce around in the global polling platform between 2nd place and 7th. Frankly I am honored to just be on the list in general. In my opinion all the names on the list are #1 and very deserving. So that was my qualifying background, now let's begin the real reason why I am writing this for you to read. I write this cause it will save your life if you remember and implement what is written here. In order to carry the point further portions will be told via a fictional scenario. Any similarities to that of a person(s), group(s), organization(s), place(s) or event(s) is strictly coincidental. 2018, I starred on a Discovery Channel, survival reality TV series titled: The ‘Ultimate Ninja Challenge’ that I’m very honored to be part of the show.
